Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Kai! This 2 year old boy is a 65 lb Weimaraner/Labrador Retriever mix. Like the dog character Goofy we all know and love, Kai here gives him a run for his money in the funloving department! We don't have a lot of info on him and his preferences such as other dogs/cats/kiddos since he is at the shelter and doesn't yet have a foster home, but he has shown us a lot of who he is in a short time.

In the shelter staff's eyes, Kai is the perfect dog! Keeps his run/kennel at the shelter clean, and is quiet. He is as sweet as he is goofy! Kai loves to cuddle and get affection. He also loves to be a clown and roll around to make you laugh. Kai is the king of goofy faces! He is a chill, loving dog who would do great in any home!

His minimum adoption fee is $300 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents.

He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.

Wish Bone Canine Rescue rehabilitates and re-homes dogs. We are a not-for-profit, no-kill organization located in Central Illinois, whose primary focus is to find responsible, loving and permanent homes for the surrendered, abandoned, neglected or abused dogs from within our community. We do not discriminate based on a dog’s breed, age or health . We are a foster home based rescue; however, we also have a facility where dogs are cared for until foster placement or adoption.
