My name is Alfalfa!

We are currently caring for Alfalfa who belongs to a family member who can no longer look after him. While we're very tempted to keep him, we have two children with busy schedules, and it wouldn't be fair to him given our current commitments. He would also thrive in a home with a fenced yard, which we cannot provide at this time.

Alfalfa is wonderful and gentle with our family and all of our guests. He’s lived harmoniously with other dogs and cats in the past, although he is aggressive toward unfamiliar dogs. We’re actively working on this behavior, but due to our time constraints, we don't have the ability to fully train him as he deserves.

Aside from his dog aggression, he’s incredibly well-behaved indoors. He’s house-trained, loves his crate as his personal space, and is quiet unless he needs to go outside. He really is an ideal dog and loving companion.
