My name is Teague!

Sweet fluffy TEAGUE is ready to find her furever home. This lovely small mixed breed girl was found dumped in the woods in a rural area with 4 other dogs. Teague is a SURVIVOR. While the other dogs with her were caught easily, it took a few weeks to catch her. Teague is a young dog, around 2 years old and fully grown at 13 pounds. Breed mix is tough to guess because so much of her long lovely coat had to be taken off due to large painful mats. Our guesses include West Highland White Terrier, Maltese and heaven knows what else. But these are just guesses, a DNA test would tell the tale, Teague is probably a mix of multiple small breeds. Teague is a fun girl. She's good with cats and other dogs, loves her toys and loves to be cuddled and carried. Teague would be fine with another dog (probably under 30 lbs) or okay as only dog as long as she gets plenty of attention. She can take a few minutes to warm up to new people, especially men. But once Teague loves you, she gives you her whole heart. We don't think she's well-suited to a home with small children. Teague is housebroken and crate trained. Her coat will need regular grooming every 2 months or so, she must never suffer through lack of care again. Matted coats aren't just unsightly, they are painful for dogs.
