My name is Carl!

Carl is a reactive dog. 90% of the time he is great but that last 10% is proving to be too difficult for my
family to manage. Carl is most aggressive towards other dogs and is apprehensive of strangers, men
in particular. We live in a townhouse in a busy neighborhood that doesn’t provide Carl the time to calm
down and relax that he needs. We have tried training, counter conditioning, positive reinforcement
and medication. Carl needs a house with a backyard in a quiet neighborhood.
Carl is about 75lbs., medium length hair with an undercoat. He loves car rides, beach trips, camping,
hiking and cuddling on the couch. He is always up for an adventure as long as there aren’t any other
dogs around. Carl has done lots of training, mostly geared toward calming down, but he is familiar
with Sit, Down, Place, Stay, Wait, Line up, Up, Off, Leave it, Take it and does well with loose leash
walking after he calms down.
