My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Currently in Texas
Meg is 1-1.5 year old and 9.9 pounds but a little on the thin side still, we are giving her lots of nutritious food get her to gain a little weight and muscle.
Meg is a happy, delightful, social and silly girl with a lot of young energy in her but she also is a huge cuddle bug.
She has a gorgeous and soft coat and an all around fantastic personality. Great with cats, kids and dogs.
Meg has a wonky way of running but puts full weight on her rear legs, runs at full speed. She appears to be in no pain but we had an x-ray done anyway to be 110% sure she had no prior injuries. Her x-rays do not show anything , but her growth plates are not completely closed.
She was found as a stray and very malnourished . She just needs good nutrition and a wonderful home to help her thrive to be the best that she can be and healthy inside and out .
Meg does not love being in a kennel and will fuss but that is really her only quirk.

Submit Application

Please go to our webpage www.texaschihuahuarescuecanada.org and submit an online application.

2.
Approve Application

We will approve your application by calling your vet and your personal reference. Once you have been approved, it's time choose your pet!

3.
Pay Fee

Payment can be done by e-transfer to txcrcanada@gmail.com

4.
Take the Pet Home

Once your payment is confirmed, we will confirm your Transport Date with you, the day your new family member will arrive in Canada.

Additional adoption info

All existing pets must be spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccines. Please complete an application at www.texaschihuahuarecuecanada.com Vet check, personal reference and home visit required.
