Black Velvet is a 9-year-old, 14 lb Chihuahua mix with a heart full of love and a personality that’ll steal yours in no time!
This adorable girl is looking for a special home where she can be the one and only dog, as she prefers to share her human with no one else.
She’s a true sweetheart who warms up quickly to everyone and loves to nudge your hand for head scratches. She’ll follow you around the house and is always eager for attention, whether it’s playtime with squeaky toys or a cozy nap on the couch (she’d rather not share that space, though!).
Black Velvet is house trained, uses pee pads, and isn’t picky about food. She’s great with outdoor play but loves to have her personal space for naps.
She gets super excited when she sees the leash, and car rides are a breeze — she’s content just chilling in the backseat, enjoying the view.
Crate-trained and affectionate, Black Velvet loves meeting new people and will roll over for belly rubs whenever she gets the chance! She’s the perfect companion for someone looking for a cuddly, loving dog who will shower them with affection.
