My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Fudge: A Sweet Soul in Need of Patience and Love
Fudge is a shy, sensitive girl with a heart full of potential, waiting for someone to give her the chance she deserves. At around 8 months old, this sleek, all-black beauty has spent her young life in search of a calm and understanding home.
Fudge needs a special adopter who will patiently help her come out of her shell and discover that the world isn’t so scary after all. With time, socialization, and lots of love, Fudge could blossom into the loyal companion we know she can be.
If you believe in second chances and have the patience to help Fudge feel safe, she’ll reward you with a bond that’s worth the wait. Are you the kind heart she’s been waiting for?
Fudge is vaccinated, spayed, and healthy (fiv and felv negative)

More about this rescue

Meowsquad is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization started in 2019. Our goal is to reduce the large stray and feral cat population of New York City by using Trap Neuter Return (TNR) techniques as well as working with the community to find forever homes for cats and kittens that can be resocialized. We also aim to relocate those who cannot be returned into safe, working environments.
