Meet Soda Pop! He is currently 6 weeks old, only 6 pounds, and we think he may be a Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd mix, but with rescue it’s always a guess! Soda Pop’s shiny, black coat and innocent, loving eyes surely suggest Black Lab. This puppy is from a part of the US where puppies are regularly euthanized. So, this puppy needs you! If you choose a puppy from this rescue, it saves their life AND it also allows us to save the life of another in its place.

Soda Pop is the most perfect little puppy looking for a forever home. He’s calm and easy-going and loves everyone he meets. In The Outsiders, Darry says about Soda Pop: “Man... that's one kid brother I don't need to worry about. This kiddo can use his head.” And that’s just who this smart and calm little boy is.
Hold Soda Pop in your arms and you can feel the trust and the love. He’s been in a wonderful foster home with his siblings since birth, and now he’s ready for his very own person! When he’s old enough, he wants to explore the world with you. He wants to join you in whatever you do in life, whether that’s beach walks, hanging out at a brewpub, or just sniffing everything in the neighborhood. And when the adventures are over, it’s time to cuddle! He is definitely up for binge-watching your favorite shows or reading a good book. His favorite book is The Outsiders, but he’s cool enough to read or watch whatever you want, as long as he can be by your side!
Soda Pop is still young and so needs a family who will invest in training, socialization, and all the dedication puppyhood requires. His new family will need to continue with potty and crate training and daily exercise. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy.

Our PNW dogs are brought to you in style by a beautiful USDA licensed semi-truck, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24 hour care. Our East Coast route will travel in a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van transport.
Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. One of our Adoption Coordinators can help to find the closest transport pick up location to you!
The adoption fee is $900.00 and includes all vetting as recommended by our doctor: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine (if old enough), multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2 months of heartworm preventative, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship!
*WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health.
*To fully vet a dog in the PNW or the NE at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs.

We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be!
