Newbie Alert!!
Meet Gumpy!! Gumpy is from a local overcrowded shelter. Sadly, he and 5 others were dumped at the shelter and were/are absolutely terrified in the scary environment! We were able to secure a foster for Gumpy and sister Hally but sadly we are still desperately searching for fosters for the remaining 4! Gumpy is a 2 year old - 7.4 lbs chiweenie. This boy is still very timid but after 2 days in foster care he’s starting to slowly open up and is learning what the good life is all about. Gumpy is going to need a family that has the patience to help her overcome his fears. He is a wonderful boy and hasn’t shown any aggression. With time and patience he’s going to make a wonderful companion. Due to him being timid an older calmer household without small kids we feel will be best. He is great with other dogs. He is utd, hw tested and will be neutered on 1/8/24. If you have a patient and loving home that you think this boy will fit into — please fill out the app below. Our adoptions are NOT on a first come first serve basis and there is no fee to apply! We never state any animal is fully House-trained..
All dogs have a $175 adoption fee which includes vet check, age appropriate shots (atleast 2 sets for puppies), dewormer, heartworm test (if over 6 months), rabies (if atleast 16 weeks) and spay/neuter!
Puppies/Dogs that are not available for adoption due to vetting not being complete can be reserved with an approved application and a non refundable $50 deposit. Deposits can ONLY be submitted once the rescue has been in contact on your approval and it has been requested through Wags and Whiskers. This deposit is applied to your adoption fee and the remaining $125 is due at pick up.
