My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Best Buddy seeking companion!  This handsome fella is FLINT, a 6-7 year old Chihuahua/Terrier mix who weighs about 7-8 pounds. He is a very small pup with a big personality. Flint is very loyal to his person and would love to share the couch with you or hang out on your lap. Flint enjoys a quiet household where he can cuddle with his human. He is great on a leash so he’s able to go for short walks but he also enjoys having a fenced yard to run and play in. Flint will sometimes play with toys in the house but he especially likes his chew bones, and laying on the back of his couch so he can keep watch. While in foster care, we have learned that Flint is not comfortable with noise and chaos so we’re requiring an adult-only household for him. Additionally, after witnessing him around other dogs in his foster home, it’s best that he be the your one and only pet so he can receive the attention he craves. He’s a very devoted, sweet pup with his person.

This dog has been examined by licensed veterinarians, tested for diseases, provided inoculations, been dewormed, neutered, and microchipped. ADOPTION APPLICATIONS are available upon request from acaringplace@comcast.net.   Our online application isn’t working correctly so please contact us so we can send a copy via email to you.

More about this rescue

A Caring Place, is an All Breed Dog Rescue organization that is exclusively foster based (no facility) and is volunteer run. We rescue dogs and puppies from animal control facilities, dog pounds, and other shelters where they are at risk of euthanasia. In addition we take in dogs surrendered by their owners who can or are no longer willing to care for their dog. Each dog this rescue takes in receives all medical care and treatment necessary to be healthy, and then place them into loving temporary homes (foster homes) until adopted. Without our foster care provider's, we could not save these dogs.

FOSTER CARE PROVIDERS are always needed!
