Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Lizzy is a fun, jubilant, energetic 1.5 year old Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd mix who loves people, playing, and cuddling! She is a very active girl and is so goofy, always making such funny facial expressions when being pet! Lizzy is about 50lbs and is fully grown, so she won't be getting any bigger.
Lizzy was brought to our local high kill shelter as an owner surrender but was adopted within a week of being at the shelter. Unfortunately, she was returned only 4 short days later for having a little cold. She remained at the shelter for about 3 weeks this time, and was soon put on the euthanasia list. Lizzy has been failed by humans so many times already, we knew we couldn't let her story end like this. Luckily, we were able to rescue her in time and she is now the happiest, most playful girl ever!
Lizzy is quite possibly the most outgoing pup you'll ever meet! She is always excited to go on new adventures, meet new friends, and learn new tricks! She is a smart girl but can be a bit stubborn sometimes, though she is easily persuaded in the right direction with treats. Lizzy has a lot of energy and needs lots of mental stimulation in order to thrive. Her favorite active hobbies include playing with toys, going on walks and hikes, running around with her canine friends, and anything else you want her to do! She loves to be around her people and is a very loyal girl. With the more work and love you pour into her, the more love she'll give in return!
Lizzy is crate and house trained, good with other dogs, and walks fairly well on a leash. She would love to have a canine companion to play with and show her the ropes in her new home, but this is not required for her to live her happiest life.
Lizzy is located in Houston TX but can be transported to most US states for adoption.
