Meet Gingerbread, a brave and sweet adult dog who currently calls the shelter her home. Her courage is evident in her daily interactions, showing a resilience that's truly admirable. Gingerbread's sweetness is infectious, and she's known to bring smiles to everyone around her. Although her house-training status is unknown, with patience and love, she can learn and adapt. Her reaction to other dogs is uncertain, but with proper introduction, she could potentially make new friends. Adopting Gingerbread means gaining a loyal companion who's brave, sweet, and ready to start a new chapter in life!

Our lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable shelter animals from being euthanized.
