If you’re looking for the perfect pup - Furiosa is the girl for you. We are not sure how we’ve had this girl so long!
Furiosa is our little miracle girl! She was relinquished to us during a spay/neuter clinic - she was very underweight and her owners noted she had been hit by a car two months before - they couldn’t provide the care she was in need of and they asked us to help her. After diagnostics it was found that her car accident had left her with a torn diaphragm and most of her organs were in her chest pushing on her lungs, not giving her a lot of space to breath. We couldn’t believe she was still wagging her tail, playing, and giving kisses. We made the decision to give her the best chance at a normal life and she had surgery to repair her diaphragmatic hernia. She did even better than expected after surgery and has made a wonderful recovery. She is just about up to her ideal weight and she never stops wagging her tail, giving kisses, and giving smiles! Now she’s a very healthy girl who will lead a completely normal life.
This little girl is just about 7 months old and is 50 pounds. We are guessing that she’s a lab/dane/shepherd mix - and she’ll be 65-75 pounds full grown. She’s very tall with the longest tail you’ve ever seen. She is great with kids and all other dogs. She’s a little playful for the 4 pound Chihuahua in her foster home but she listens well when she is redirected. She learned quickly to only play with her dog toys and stay off the sofa- but she would love sofa cuddles if they’re allowed! She’s a very cuddly girl. She has been completely potty trained in her foster home and is learning all the basic manners. (Leash walking, sit, down, stay!) She’s a very smart girl. She is very food motivated and she loves treat puzzles and doing anything for a treat! She loves to go for walks and is eager to make you happy.
