My name is Piper!

We recently adopted a female, 3-year-old, 50-lb, German Shepherd mix. She is spayed, chipped, tested for heartworm, and has all her shots. I have her records from Cobb County Animal Shelter. Unfortunately, she is not working out with our family. Piper is extremely cuddly with people but unpredictable with other dogs. We feel that she would be an excellent addition to a home that currently doesn’t have any other pets or perhaps only dogs comparable in size. She was sharing a dog run with another large dog at the shelter (maybe a boy?), but she didn't fit in with our two. We live in Marietta, GA (Metro Atlanta). She may have worked it out with our border collie mix, but she was aggressive toward our senior chihuahua, and we can't risk it. She is so sweet with us and deserves a loving home.
