My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Piper and Maya are sweet sisters rescued and socialized in a foster home. They're affectionate lap kitties who love to be petted and brushed. These girls are somewhat on the quiet side but also love to play with kitty toys. They are still a bit shy but their personalities are shining through and they love attention. We feel sure that in their own home they'll gain the extra confidence and be very loving family members.

Piper and Maya have beautiful tuxedo fur coats with white bibs and mittens. Maya has green eyes and Piper has gold-green. They've been spayed and vaccinated and are now ready to adopt. We are in a rural location and cover a large area with small communities far apart. We tailor our adoption process to fit the needs of each adoption, whether it be a home visit or other specific situation. Adoptions are allowed to proceed only after careful checking of the situation for each animal.

Rescued Animals In Need is a no kill organization whose main focus is rescuing lost, abandoned, abused, neglected or unwanted animals and helping them find their forever homes. We work hard to reduce the number of unwanted dogs and cats by providing education and financial assistance (when available) for spay/neuter programs to help prevent unwanted and uncontrolled pregnancies for animals in our communities. Including a program for the voiceless and often ignored feral cats. We have full non-profit 501(c)3 status with the State of California.
