Dandelion is a smart puppy who loves to cuddle! Her foster family, including the resident dog Maximo, has loved having her around. She’s playful with the exuberant Maximo but knows how to hold her own when she’s done playing.
Like any puppy, Dandelion loves to chew, so providing appropriate chew toys, such as ropes and rubber toys, is a must. She responds well to redirection, which helps reinforce positive behavior. She’s also been crate training and enjoys the coziness of her crate when it’s lined with a cushioned bed.
At night, Dandelion often wakes up with her sister (who’s also being fostered) for midnight cuddles with their foster mom. She’s a foodie too and would benefit from a slow feeder to pace her mealtime.
Dandelion is working on potty training and, after just a couple of days, is still getting the hang of transitioning to going outside. She’s also gaining confidence and can be a bit timid at times, so she’d do well in a home that offers plenty of love, attention, breed-specific training, and snuggles.
This smart girl already knows how to sit when asked and is showing early signs of loyalty and protection—classic traits of a Malinois. Dandelion would thrive in a household that understands the commitment required for this working breed and has the time to help her reach her full potential.
If you’re ready to give this sweet, playful, and loving pup the attention she deserves, Dandelion might be the perfect fit for your family! Click here to learn how to adopt and submit your adoption questionnaire.
