Here's what the humans have to say about me:

01/04/25 This school of fishes was brought to the shelter due to the previous owner being deployed and not having a reliable caretaker for them while he is away. In total, there are six black tetras, two peppered catfish, two Siamese algae eaters, a three spot gourami, a pearl gourami, and a honey gourami. All of these fishes are tropical freshwater fishes. If you are not familiar with the care of these types of fishes, we highly recommend doing some research prior to adopting. If you are interested in any of these fish or fishes, please give the shelter a call!

Additional adoption info

All pets adopted from the Shelter are required to be spayed or neutered at time of adoption. If they are not, the adopter is responsible for the cost of spay/neuter surgery. If they are, the adopter must pay an adoption fee ($130 dog/$90 cat). Permanent Identification of microchip or tattoo is required prior to release from the shelter. The fee for a microchip is $15. There is a $15 rabies vaccination charge for all pets where vaccines cannot be verified as current.

We are located in Fairbanks on the corner of Peger and Davis Roads. Our pets are viewable on many different websites and at our facility, Animal Control is open to the public:

Closed Sunday

Last daily visit is at 5:15 p.m. Adoption paperwork must be turned in to Customer Service staff 30 minutes before closing in order to be processed the same day.
