My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Born in November of 2021, Curious George is one cool cat. He would make the purrfect low maintenance companion. George is sweet and affectionate but not pushy or demanding. He's just a nice big huggable boy that is gentle and easy-going! His favorite activities are ear scratches by his people, eating crunchy food, watching the world outside his window, and napping - not necessarily in that order. He comes to our rescue from a rural northern NC shelter where he was loved by all the staff. They were so happy to see him come to our rescue so he could find his very own people. George would like a semi quiet indoor home and would be fine with or without another cat companion.

Cat Tales Rescue NC is the nonprofit rescue arm of Cat Tales Cat Cafe, which provides a unique and invaluable avenue for adoptions. The Cat Cafe environment allows us to get to know each cat and adopter individually enabling us to set adopters up for success which leads to happier adoptions. Even previously overlooked cats get a chance to shine at the café. At the Cat Cafe, cats get adopted quickly, which allows us to be efficient and cost effective, but most importantly, cause the least amount of stress on the cats.
