Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
This helps Passion for Pets Rescue with pet care costs.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Gigi, a gentle and timid three-year-old mini Aussie rescued from a puppy mill. Gigi is looking for a patient and understanding forever home where she can feel safe and loved at her own pace. She finds comfort in her personal hiding spots and needs someone willing to go very, very slow to earn her trust.
Although she has a hard time looking you in the eye, Gigi will warm up with patience and care. She’s still adjusting from everything she has endured but is making progress. She has started walking well on a leash and is warming up to her foster dad. She even visits her foster mom’s salon, where she quietly observes from the safety of a little corner.
Gigi is wonderful with other dogs and does well with cats, as long as her new family is patient and allows her time to adjust. This sweet girl has so much love to give once she feels secure. Gigi is waiting for that special person or family to show her what it means to be truly cherished. Could that be you?
Adoption fee is $450

More about this rescue
Passion for Pets Rescue (PPR) is a non-profit (501c3), insured and state licensed rescue, run by volunteers. We are a small group of like minded folks with big hearts. PPR does not have an actual shelter, all of our dogs are either in foster homes in Maine or with our Southern partners in Mississippi.
PPR covers all medical expenses. The majority of the dogs we rescue require immediate veterinary care. Skin infections and internal parasites are common occurrences. We pay for all spay & neuter surgeries. PPR makes sure all dogs are given age appropriate vaccinations, as well as, preventative medication for Heartworm and external parasites.
Please contact us if you would like to help foster, transport, fundraise or volunteer.
