Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet the lovely RUKI. ❤️
RUKI was brought to a shelter where euthanasia was being carried out, along with her mom and siblings right after birth.
For two months, no one came to help them, and despite the harsh conditions, the siblings managed to survive. We couldn't turn a blind eye to the news that RUKI's family would be euthanized. After being rescued, RUKI has been waiting for a family while receiving unconditional love from a foster parent.
He loves everyone.
Please become the lifelong family of the charming RUKI.
**Personality:** Smart and sociable.
**Interaction with Other Dogs:** Very good sociability.
**Interaction with Cats:** Approaches stray cats with a wagging tail.
**House Training Completed:** 100% outdoor elimination.
**Crate Training:** In progress.
**Energy Level:** High.
**Handling Ability:** Can be handled.
**Barking Tendencies:** Rarely barks. Reacts to sounds outside the door but does not bark loudly.
**Escape Tendencies:** None.
**Appetite Issues:** Has a good appetite.
**Current Food:** Dry kibble.
**Walking with a Collar:** Possible.
**Reactivity to People or Dogs:** Approaches people who show interest in him well. Especially welcomes and follows children and dogs.
**Good in the Car:** Generally sits on the passenger floor when the door is opened and mostly lies down while in transit.
**Destructive Behavior:** Does not touch anything except his toys when the guardian is home. However, if the guardian is away for a long time or if there is a long period of hunger, there may be some destructive behavior.
**Needs a House with a Yard:** Walking seems sufficient.
**Needs a Home with Other Dogs:** Not necessary.
**Can Live in an Apartment:** Yes, possible.

Go meet their pets
All our dogs fly from Korea to the US when their adoptions are finalized. Therefore, we can not provide the "meet and greet." Multiple video clips will be provided and we will help you walk through the steps to reassure the adopted dog and the adopter are the best match for each other. Some dogs are available for meet and greet if the dogs are fostered in the US.

More about this rescue
WELCOME PAWS: KOREAN DOG RESCUE is a registered nonprofit charity organization run by all-volunteers who are dedicated to the animal welfares.
We rescue stray, neglected and abused animals, city sheltered animals and dog meat trade animals in South Korea. All of our pets are cared for by loving foster homes and receiving complete medical cares before they are ready to meet their FURever families. We find them best fitted home in the United States, Canada, and South Korea.
Furthering our cause is the most important goal of our organization. We seek to support, empower, and provide high quality resources and educations to our adopters. Our success isn’t measured in terms of wealth or profit margin, but by the value we provide to those we serve.
