Sweeney is a shy pup that would appreciate a calm and quiet foster home to unwind in while he is recovering. He is a little nervous meeting new people, but once he gets to know you, he will be your new best friend!

Reason for Foster: Hair loss

Foster Time Frame: TBD

Foster Care Plan: Sweeney has a patch of hair loss above his left eye and on his back left leg. An initial ringworm test was negative, but a PCR test has been sent to the lab to confirm. Once we receive the test results we will have a better idea of his care plan moving forward.

Foster to Adopt: Sweeney is available through our Foster to Adopt program, which allows pets awaiting or undergoing medical treatment to be placed with prospective adopters before they are made available for adoption. Operation Kindness is a pioneer in Texas for assisting animals in need of veterinary care, companionship and most of all, a home. We operate a lifesaving animal shelter in Carrollton, TX.
In addition to pet adoptions and lifesaving medical care, our programs provide foster care for vulnerable animals, resources for pet parents, affordable veterinary services for community pets, a pet food pantry and volunteer opportunities.
