If you would like to adopt, please fill out an application at www.TexasChihuahuaRescue.org. The adoption fee is $400. All dogs are fully vetted, spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped current on flea, tick, hw meds and dewormer.

Texas Chihuahua Rescue is based in Pleasanton, Texas. Additional photos and videos will be made available to approved adopters Texas adopters will be required to pick up their adopted dogs in Pleasanton.

Transport available to Buffalo NY and Ontario Canada for an additional fee.


Meg is 1-1.5 year old and 9.9 pounds but a little on the thin side still, we are giving her good nutrition to get her to fain a little weight and muscle. Meg is a happy, delightful, social and silly girl with a lot of young energy in her but she also is a huge cuddle bug. She has a gorgeous and soft coat and an all around fantastic personality. Great with cats, kids and dogs.
Meg has a wonky way of running but puts full weight on her rear legs, runs at full speed and appeared to be in no pain but we had an x-ray done anyway to be 110% sure she had no prier injuries. Her x-rays do not show anything , but her growth plates are not completely closed. She was found as a stray and very malnourished . She just needs good nutrition and a wonderful home to help her thrive to be the best that she can be and healthy inside and out . Meg does not love being in a kennel and will fuss but that is really her only quirk.
