My name is Barkley!

Barkley is a 2.5 year old brindle
Mali/Shepherd SuperMutt mix. We rescued him as a pup and spent a lot of money training him. Unfortunately, my son (6) and him don’t mix well. They’ve had a couple of minor incidents. He has no issue with my girls and his dog brother (6 mos older and 30-40lbs bigger.) and has never had any issues with other kids.
Highly intelligent and is an alpha male. Will herd other dogs and try to encourage them to play. Weighs about 40lbs. Athletic and fast. Knows basic commands, is prong, ecollar trained and is ball, toy motivated. Doesn’t seem to care much about food but eats what he is given. He is hyper alert and very communicative. Look up Malinois as they are a demanding type of dog.

I think he’d do best with someone who can give him a job and let him roam the perimeter. Loves to work and be praised.
