Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Dixie was almost 70lbs upon intake! She was a HEFTY girl! She’s lost about 10lbs with her fosters with regular exercise and a diet, but will still need to lean out about. One problem: she is LAZY 🤣
Dixie is very particular and bossy; so if you’re looking for a sweetheart with some sass, Dixie is your gal. She lives up to the Southern Belle name, and will give you a look like “bless your heart” when she doesn’t want to listen.
She isn’t a flight risk because that would involve running and well… she’s not a runner, too much work 😅
We do think Dixie would do fine with older kiddos, but would probably be anxious around littles that haven’t learned to respect animal boundaries quite yet. She is a SNUGGLE BUG, but also perfectly fine with just chilling in her dog bed on her own.
She’s not a fan of crates, but she is completely potty trained and doesn’t destroy things in her foster home.
✅ Good with dogs
✅ Good with cats - will chase if they run, but just looks at them funny if they don’t 🤣 not aggressive!
If you’re interested in meeting Dixie, her foster parents would love to have you out to the farm to meet her!
