My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Apply to Adopt Me!

Meet Nina. This gal is the sweetest dog! We are not too sure about her past life but she enjoys spending her days lazing on a dog bed basking in the sunshine. We know that this 14-15yo, 34-lb. West Highland Terrier mix lived with the only family she ever knew, but they couldn't seem to work out their life to keep her in her last years, which made Nina extremely sad, and took her some time to get over being abandoned. But she is doing better and seems spry for her age, walks great on a leash and loves to wander around the fenced yard. She enjoys taking her time and sniffing all the new smells. Nina is house trained, and does well with other dogs and cats, is a bit shy at first but warms up quickly. She is friendly to all and she loves being around children of all ages. She also loves being with her people. She is a great Netflix partner, and although she can’t jump onto the couch, she is happy laying close by on a a comfy dog bed. She also likes to hang out in the kitchen while you’re cooking. She looks forward to her morning and evening meals and is not food aggressive. She loves treats but is not too keen on toys. She's a quiet girl, with minimal barks. Her medium-length, somewhat course coat requires some maintenance and will benefit from daily brushing. Shedding seems to be minimal. Her eyes are a bit cloudy but she is able to see and gets around fine. Her hearing may be slightly diminished, but she hears quite well for her age. She is definitely a gentle soul looking for a quiet place to rest her head in her golden years. If you believe you have the perfect calm forever home for this quiet senior, and you live in the Orlando/Central Florida area, please complete an app and tell us more about your family.
