My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Asher is 2 years old, 50 lbs

Meet Asher! This sweet 2 year old, pit mix is looking for his furever home! Asher was rescued from the Lancaster Animal Shelter after being overlooked for over 120 days, which unfortunately landed him on the euthanasia list 💔, that’s when I knew I had to step in. He is an absolute cuddle bug and wants nothing more than to be snuggled up next to his owner, he is fairly low energy and enjoys short walks but ultimately would prefer to just be a couch potato. Asher is dog friendly, kid friendly, and has been around cats and not shown any interest in them. He is neutered, crate trained, potty trained, has good house manners, and also knows commands like; “sit”, “laydown”, “spin” and “leave it”. He is a dream to have an a car and loves to curl up in the passenger seat to take a nap. He also loves chew toys and playing fetch!

More about this rescue

We are primarily a lab rescue but always have a variety of dogs needing homes. We primarily work with rescues in the NE that we send most of our dogs to that have great homes waiting. We pull from shelters, take in strays & owner surrenders. Either adopt them out or send to rescues up north
