This sweet boy was in the shelter in Mississippi. Nobody ever came to claim him. Brad is an awesome but laid back kinda of guy. He loves to explode and have fun, but you can find him hanging out with his humans and dog friends.
From the foster: I've had Brad since October 2024 and he’s been no trouble whatsoever. Brad is an easy going guy who loves all humans and dog friends. He will chase cats if they run, so this is why we put him as no cats. Brad loves being outdoors, so we would love to see him go to a home with a fenced yard and even a friend to romp with. Brad will enjoy going on walks and exploring the world with you. When he is inside with his humans, Brad will lay by the fire and relax. Brad is just an amazing soul!!!! Training should be an easy thing for him as he loves to please his humans.
Brad cannot wait to find his forever family. He has been passed by so many times as people say his just a regular plain black dog. In our eyes, Brad is more than that!!! He is handsome and loving and that's what we care about. Do you love Brad??? Apply now!!!
If interested in Brad, please apply online: ADOPTION APPLICATION or email us at Info.FetchingHeartsRescue@gmail.com.

More about this rescue
Fetching Hearts Rescue is a non-profit 501(c)(3), volunteer run rescue that is dedicated to saving dogs who have been abused, neglected or abandoned and finding loving, caring homes for them.
We rely on a network of foster families so that each dog that we pull into the safety of our rescue is placed in a foster home and is no longer confined to a life in a kennel.
We are committed to helping dogs of all ages, breeds and sizes by partnering with shelters and animal control services right here in Connecticut as well as with several high kill shelters in the South.
We do a full assessment of each dog's temperament and health to ensure that we are able to find the most suitable home for them. Every dog is fully vetted - meaning they are up to date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered, heartworm negative and micro chipped - before being adopted.
The ASPCA estimates that approximately 3.3 million dogs in the United States enter shelters each year, of which approximately 670,000 are euthanized*. Our goal is to advocate for and provide education about the need for spaying and neutering to eliminate what has become an epidemic of unwanted dogs.*
