My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Cowboy, the lovable and hilarious Corgi who’s ready to find his forever home! At just 2 years old and 38 pounds, Cowboy is a neutered male with AKC papers and an absolute heart-melter. He’s a true lovebug always eager for pets, cuddles, and attention—at times, you might even swear he’s smiling!

Cowboy is friendly with other dogs and would thrive in a home where he can continue to build his confidence around large dogs. While he’s still learning the ins and outs of new social situations, he's been getting along well with his previous foster's Great Dane. Cowboy is housebroken, crate trained, and loves having a space of his own—he often goes in and lies down without anyone asking, though he’s always ready to come out and join the fun whenever you’re ready.

If you’re looking for a fun, affectionate, and endearing dog with a personality that will bring joy to your life, Cowboy is your guy. He’s ready to make you smile every day and will quickly become the cherished member of your family. To adopt Cowboy and start your journey with this adorable little guy, head over to peace4paws.org/adoption-application on a computer or laptop. He won’t be available for long—this lovable guy is sure to steal someone’s heart in no time!

More about this rescue

Peace4paws is a 501 (c) 3 non profit public charity centered in Northern New Jersey. Through our foster home system, we are able to support the rehoming and adoption of dogs from kill shelters as well as facilities of research and related fields. Founded in 2007, our initial mission focused on supporting sanctuary and forever homes for animals retired from use in research and related fields. In the past few years we have broadened our scope of rescue. We continue to help our own retired research animals and independent sanctuaries but also save shelter dogs. We are able to do this work through the efforts of our volunteer network and generous donors. Please see our website or facebook page "Peace4Paws" to meet our adoptable dogs, success stories or volunteer opportunities. We organize fundraising events centered around yoga, music, health, or animal friendly activities. We are also involved with student outreach and education. We would love to work with you.
