My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Location: PA
Move over Grumpy Cat. Meet Yeti! This little red boy may very well be the next internet sensation! Don’t be fooled by that grumpy expression, he’s a happy little dude. Don’t be fooled by his tiny adorable physique he is all CattleDog. His rolly polly body and stumpy tail make him comical and extremely entertaining. He is already mastering the herding trait….nipping heels! He plays hard and sleeps hard. Yeti will need a job as most Heelers do. He is a little smartypants, quick to pick things up. An active family and fenced-in yard would be ideal. Housebreaking is an ongoing process. His date of birth is 10/22/24. Must have CattleDog experience to be considered. The lucky adopter may have to pry him from our arms.
Yeti has age appropriate vaccines and will need boosters. He is microchipped and will be adopted out with a neuter contract. He is being fostered in Virginville PA

More about this rescue

We are an all volunteer group that rescues Australian Cattle Dogs. Our dogs reside in foster homes until they are adopted
Every year, thousands of Australian Cattle Dogs find themselves homeless through no fault of their own. Although the reasons are diverse, the result is the same. Healthy, adoptable dogs face euthanasia in shelters.

The Australian Cattle Dog Rescue Association rescues ACDs in shelters from Maine to Georgia and gives these dogs a fresh start with a loving family. Our foster home volunteers welcome the dogs into their homes where they live as members of the family. During the time in foster care, our volunteers determine what kind of forever home will be the right one for each dog.
