My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Ginger.

I was a stray that was taken to the humane society and adopted out 2 1/2 years ago. I love being with my current owner but I need to be somewhere that has a fenced in backyard and an owner who is more athletic as I am “too much dog” for my current owner. I do not have behavioral issues.

I love people and most dogs and going to the dog park. My favorite past time is hunting squirrels and rabbits. I have a lot of patience and will sit by a tree waiting for the squirrel for hours. I have caught 2 squirrels and 1 rabbit while on a tie out on 3 separate occasions. I love to jump, I am very quick and can outrun most dogs. I think I would make a good hunting dog if trained as I do not bark at the “prey” but will approach quietly until I see the opportune time to run for the catch. I love pleasing my owner and I am very treat motivated.

Though me finding a new home will be sad for me and my owner it is the best for both of us.
