Here's what the humans have to say about me:
William ( Wally) is a 12 lb. 6-year-old Yorkshire Terrier, who was recently rescued from an Amish Puppy Mill. Wally is the sweetest! He is a little bit shy, loves, people, other dogs, cats, and respectful kids who will be patient with him as he learns what life is like to live in a loving family. Wally does great in his crate but is not potty trained. That is something he is currently working on and will also need leash training. A fenced yard would be ideal for him and a friendly, confident dog to play with.
He will be neutered and have a dental (he may lose most of his teeth) before going to his forever home. He did see a groomer after he was rescued, and he was great with them.
Adoption fee is $450

More about this rescue
Passion for Pets Rescue (PPR) is a non-profit (501c3), insured and state licensed rescue, run by volunteers. We are a small group of like minded folks with big hearts. PPR does not have an actual shelter, all of our dogs are either in foster homes in Maine or with our Southern partners in Mississippi.
PPR covers all medical expenses. The majority of the dogs we rescue require immediate veterinary care. Skin infections and internal parasites are common occurrences. We pay for all spay & neuter surgeries. PPR makes sure all dogs are given age appropriate vaccinations, as well as, preventative medication for Heartworm and external parasites.
Please contact us if you would like to help foster, transport, fundraise or volunteer.
