Meet the Pet
This helps The Rescue Crew with pet care costs.
Meet Mouse!
Mouse is the perfect combination of sweet and fun! This beautiful little lady is perfectly content to purr on your lap, to ride around on your shoulder (it's the sweetest thing!), or to play, play, play! Chasing her siblings through the bed sheets is a current favorite pastime . Mouse is a long-haired female with a "smoky" colored coat (lighter colored underneath and darker on top). She came to us pretty cold and hungry after being found with her siblings in Bloomington, MN at about 4 weeks old. She has been THRIVING in her foster home! Mouse has an estimated birthdate of October 6th and has tested negative for felv/fiv. She will be fully vaccinated, microchipped, spayed and ready for her new home on January 13th, 2025 (about 13 weeks old).
This insta-purr girl is well adjusted to kids, new people, other cats and dogs (both big and small). Mouse has done well on car rides and she has no fear of the robovac or of a beginner trumpet player . She is fully litterbox trained and eating both canned and solid kitten food.
Mouse is bonded with "Smoky" (male), preference to keeping them together. Kittens are better in pairs and although not required, our preference is to see siblings adopted together -OR- having another cat in the home so that they can continue their socialization. Mouse is part of a sibling group. Her other brother is "Onyx" and her sister is "Ashlyn", both are also available for adoption through The Rescue Crew.
Mouse is now ready to meet her forever family and we have no doubt that she will quickly steal a piece of your heart, as she has ours!
If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please an Adoption Request Form. This is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract. To learn more about The Rescue Crew adoption process and the care our foster animals receive, please visit our Adoption Process page on our official website.
All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption.
The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a physical location where you can stop by to visit the animals - we require the completion of an Adoption Application prior to meeting any of our adoptable pets in foster care. For the most complete information regarding this animal, and all of our adoptable pets, please ensure you are visiting our website directly at www.RescueCrew.org. You can also access the necessary online adoption application here as well. Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown.
