My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lissane Jacko came to us from a home that could not keep him because the other dog was aggressive to him. This is an extremely sweet boy who is good with people & other dogs. He would benefit from some basic obedience and confidence building. His birth date is 10/28/23 and he currently weighs 11# full grown. He will be groomed before adoption and require grooming for life. He is good with kids and create trained.
He has been vet. checked, neutered, micro chipped, is up to date on routine shots & wormings including rabies, and has been treated with flea & heart worm preventative per our protocol. He is heart worm negative.
His adoption donation is $500 and needs to be cash, certified check, money order or a debit/credit card. There is a 3% processing fee when using a debit/credit card. Any extra funds collected in his adoption donation not used for his vetting, will go into our general vetting fund for other dogs in need. We do not ship or transport.

A phone interview with an adoption coordinator is required.

Meet the Pet

If approved, we will set up an appointment for you to meet the pet. If everything goes well, you will be able to take them home the same day

We do NOT accept personal checks. We accept cash, certified check, money order and debit/credit cards (with a 3% processing fee).

3 references and a vet reference is required. If you do not own your home, landlord approval is also required.

We are a volunteer operated non profit dog rescue located in Northern Indiana. We are a NO KILL rescue with a mission to spay or neuter every dog that comes through our rescue. Our mission is a direct response to counteract the overpopulation of unwanted dogs.
