Hello, wonderful humans! My name is Millie, and I’m a sweet three-year-old Maltese girl looking for a foster-to-adopt home where I can blossom into the happy pup I know I can be!

I might be a little shy at first, but don’t let that fool you—I’m a joyful little lady once I warm up to you! My ideal family will be patient and understanding, ready to show me all the beautiful things life has to offer. With a little time and love, I promise to fill your days with happiness and cuddles.

I’m crate trained, but I’m still learning the ropes when it comes to living in a house. I may have a few accidents as I adjust, so a little guidance will go a long way! I absolutely adore running around in the yard, so a home with a fenced yard would be perfect for my playful spirit.

Sometimes, I can get spooked by unexpected noises, so a tracking collar will help keep me safe during our outdoor adventures. And let’s not forget—I have a big love for treats, toys, and dressing up in cute outfits!

Millie was pregnant when she came into rescue and she and her pups have been in a PPAR foster home. Now it’s time for Millie to find a loving foster to adopt home, and she will get spayed while in foster. She is up to date on vaccines and had a wellness exam.

More about this rescue

We have a passion for senior animals. To be able to save an animal from dying alone in a shelter, to give it a chance to live out its last days/months/years in a home with the proper care and love it deserves, instead of a cold shelter, is what drives us to keep going.

We obviously have financial needs that come with rescuing senior dogs, so we will be rescuing puppies and younger dogs as well so we are able to care for our seniors.
