Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi - I'm Raspberry but my foster mom calls me Rosie!

I am a beautiful black and white 5 lb Shih Tuz/poodle now retired from having puppies. My last litter, I only had one puppy, but I adopted another puppy that his mother was unable to take care of. But I am done being a mother and now just want to be a dog and have a family of my own. I am a little shy, but I am learning quickly to play with toys and chase squirrels in the backyard. I am housebroken most of the time but will have an occasional accident. I am learning to trust, and my foster mom says that I am a very fast learner and ohhhh, so smart. I would do well in a home with another calm 4 legged sibling and older children. I get along with my foster sisters and brothers and I have learned a lot from them. I am learning to cuddle with my foster mom she says I give excellent kisses. I will need a patient home that can give me time to learn and adjust to just being a dog that is loved unconditionally.

So I am ready to find my furever home. I promise to love you with all my heart. So if I sound like you could love me forever please apply to foster-to-adopt me.

I am up to date on my vaccines and microchipped. I have had a well visit. So I am ready to start my new life.

I am being fostered north of Philadelphia, so a potential adopter will need to travel to my location to meet me. Rosie is available foster-to-adopter since she needs to be spayed.

More about this rescue

We have a passion for senior animals. To be able to save an animal from dying alone in a shelter, to give it a chance to live out its last days/months/years in a home with the proper care and love it deserves, instead of a cold shelter, is what drives us to keep going.

We obviously have financial needs that come with rescuing senior dogs, so we will be rescuing puppies and younger dogs as well so we are able to care for our seniors.
