Introducing **Gibbs**, a lively 3-year-old Cairn Terrier mix who is ready to find his forever home! Gibbs was found as a stray in Detroit and entered the shelter feeling fearful and misunderstood. Thankfully, he has had the chance to decompress in a loving foster home, and now he is a much happier, more outgoing pup!
Gibbs is bursting with terrier energy and is always up for new adventures! He loves to explore and play.
This sweet boy needs an active family who can keep up with his energetic personality and take him on outdoor excursions.
Gibbs does well with other dogs that can match his energy level, making him a great playmate. He would thrive in a home with older, dog-savvy children who can understand his playful nature.
Gibbs is crate trained and has a good understanding of house manners. He is making progress on leash manners, though he tends to pull in excitement when he sees something interesting!
Gibbs recently met a cat and was a bit too interested in them for comfort, so he’d likely do best in a home without cats. He loves to spend time with his people and can be vocal when excited, adding to his charming personality. Due to his active nature, Gibbs would not flourish in a tether system and needs a secure environment to explore and play freely.

OUR ADOPTION PROECESS REQUIRES AN APPLICATION TO BE COMPLETED AND APPROVED BEFORE A MEET-N-GREET WITH THE ANIMAL CAN TAKE PLACE.
