Chloe VI is an owner surrender looking for a new home.
Hi! My name is Chloe VI ! I am a beautiful 2-3 year old flashy fawn girl that is an owner surrender due to not getting along with the other female dog in the home. I get along with other family members male dogs and the resident chihuahua, but I need a home with no female dogs. I am described as shy, active, playful, affectionate, and nervous! I get excited and will try to jump on people to give them hugs, but am easily corrected. I haven't had much exposure to kids except for my owner's 9 year old granddaughter and I love her! I have never lived with a cat but I chase small animals that get in my yard on the farm so a cat free home may be best. I can be shy and anxious when meeting new people and will try to hide under the bed when new people come to my home. I am house trained, doggy door trained, know basic commands, and sleep in the human bedroom. My favorite place is on the human's bed where I can touch or lay against them. I will need assistance with crate training manners if that is required in my forever home. When the humans must be away and leave me alone, I can be a little anxious but am calm and do best with them near me. When outside I am curious what is under the grass and will dig to find out. I am capable of jumping a kiddie gate, but not a fence. I am fearful of loud and sudden noises, fireworks, gunshots, and new people coming to my home. Some of my favorite things are riding in the car, squeaky toys, running in the large fenced yard, treats, toys, deer antlers, cuddling, and laying on the couch in the evening! If you think I would make a great addition to your family, contact the rescue today and give them my name because I am waiting to meet you!
