My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Parker, a playful and affectionate 6-month-old neutered male Brittany Spaniel with a beautiful brown-and-white coat. Weighing in at 11 kg, this lively pup is bursting with personality and ready to bring joy to your home!

Parker is a people-lover through and through. Whether it’s someone he knows or a complete stranger, he’ll eagerly approach for pets and cuddles, even leaning in to nuzzle your legs. He adores both men and women and is comfortable being picked up and held. Parker has a habit of excitedly clinging to your legs as a way of saying hello—it’s his signature move!

When it comes to canine friends, Parker is just as social. He happily greets both familiar and unfamiliar dogs, showing a special fondness for those his size or smaller. If another dog tries to pick a fight, Parker simply walks away—he’s all about keeping the peace. During walks, he may notice cats but doesn’t react beyond a curious glance.

True to his breed, Parker has a moderate energy level with a love for outdoor adventures. He thrives on daily exercise and enjoys sniffing around, often stopping to investigate intriguing scents. He keeps an eye on his human while walking, always returning if he strays too far. Sudden movements like flying plastic bags or passing cars catch his attention, but he calmly pauses to observe.

Parker is polite and well-mannered. He doesn’t guard food, is calm in a kennel, and is fully trained for both indoor pads and outdoor potty breaks. He does, however, express himself with occasional barks, especially when interacting with other dogs or seeking attention.

This sweet pup has had a tough start—rescued from the backyard breeder where he and others were left without homes due to redevelopment. Despite this, Parker’s affectionate and friendly nature shines through. If you’re looking for a loving, active companion who’s great with people and dogs alike, Parker is ready to start his next adventure with you!

More about this rescue

Adopt Korean Rescue is a volunteer-based federally registered not-for-profit organization dedicated to helping homeless and unwanted dogs in South Korea find a new home in Canada.

We love Korean dogs. Many of them live in chains, give birth on the side of the road, or wander around with their pups. Some of them get caught and end up at dog meat farms or high-kill shelters in South Korea. They luckily meet us just before euthanasia or after many years of living in dog meat farms. We exist to hold their paws and help them find a forever home in Canada full of joy and happiness.
