Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Please note that this dog is at the Riverside County Animal Shelter in Jurupa Valley (ID A1831415). You can adopt him directly from there, and he needs out ASAP given how long he's been there.
Dalton is a 2 year old German Shepherd who weighs around 62lbs. While he is not currently neutered, he will be neutered prior to his adoption. He is a friendly, front of the kennel dog who wants to interact with those who approach. He loves pets and attention.
We didn't hear him make a peep when we visited him at the shelter, and he was remarkably calm despite the chaos going on around him. He takes treats gently. While he will likely need help with basic training (including potty, leash, crate, and obedience), it's clear this boy wants to please and will be an incredible addition to a very lucky family.
If you want to adopt Dalton, please visit the Riverside Shelter in Jurupa Valley. This boy needs a miracle NOW.

Launched in 2021, Diamond's Friends Pet Rescue is a Newport Beach-based 501(c)(3) animal rescue organization. We are entirely foster-based and are no-kill. Our mission is to help as many homeless dogs and cats as possible find loving and compassionate adoptive families.
We accomplish this by being good stewards of donations, inspiring dedicated volunteers and fosters, providing education on responsible pet ownership, and being advocates for each animal that comes under our care. Our goal is to make a positive impact in the lives of as many animals as we can.
Diamond's Friends Pet Rescue is named in honor of our founder's late dog, Diamond. She was a fantastic foster sister to numerous dogs and was a friend to every animal she met. It is our hope that many more animals in need will get to be one of Diamond's friends.
