My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Stitch is a ridiculously cute little dog. This poor guy was never socialized and is going to need an owner who's got some serious patience. He takes a bit to warm up, but after that, he's your new BFF. He's only 1-2 years old, weighs 5 pounds, and is basically a tiny bundle of joy. He's looking for a new home where he can be the center of attention. He's currently being fostered in Swedesboro, 08085. He's neutered, all shots, and house trained.

One thing to note: he's not a fan of small children or large dogs, so if you've got either of those, he's not the pup for you. What he would love is a fenced yard and a lap to snuggle up on. If interested please fill out a application He's a Yorkie/Chi X, and he can't wait to find his forever home.

Our adoption process starts with the applicant filling out an adoption application for the pet they are interested in. When they have completed and submitted the application, the screening process is started, which consists of a vet check, phone interview and home visit. Once all the steps are completed, we determine, by our findings, if they are approved, and if so, then they are allowed to adopt from our organization. The final step is they must complete the adoption contract, along with the donation for the animal, which goes into our medical fund to defray their medical costs. All of our animals are spayed and neutered, up to date on all their shots, including rabies, they are parasite free and on heartworm preventative.

More about this rescue

We are the Burlington County Animal Alliance (BCAA)located in Central New Jersey. We are a non-profit organization 501(3)(c), all volunteer rescue that saves animals from our local shelter and surrounding areas of New Jersey that are in danger of being euthanized. We take them into our program, get them the necessary medical care they need and adopt them back out to loving forever homes. We have 60 volunteers, many that open their homes to foster the homeless animals, we do fundraisers to raise money so we can continue to save the dogs and cats in need. We run strictly on donations from our adoptions and people who support our work.BCAA adopts to families in New Jersey, parts of Southeastern Pennsylvania and parts of New York.
