Looking for a fun and lovable new best friend? Jaxx is a sweet, friendly, and energetic pup with a big heart and an eagerness to please. Hes full of youthful enthusiasm and thrives on adventure, whether its a stroll through the neighborhood, a romp in the park, or playtime with other dogs. Jaxx loves attention and would do great in a home with playful companions, like other dogs or dog-savvy kids, who can match his energy and zest for life.

Jaxx is still learning how to be a dog after growing up in a shelter but is adjusting quickly. Hes eager to learn and highly food-motivated - he already knows how to sit and is excited to master new tricks with a little guidance. He walks well on a leash, though he can be jumpy with excitement when first heading out.

In playgroups, Jaxx is social and playful, happily sharing toys and playing chase with other dogs. He has not been dominant and does well with similarly energetic pups. Hes been around cats briefly in the shelter, showing curiosity but no signs of aggression. Jaxx is also gentle with people and loves to give his full attention, though his excitement may lead to some happy jumps at first.

Jaxx does fine with sturdy toys and chews but enjoys tearing up stuffed or rope toys. Hell thrive in a home that can give him the structure, love, and activity he craves. If youre looking for an affectionate, adventurous companion whos ready to learn and grow, Jaxx might be your perfect match!

Additional adoption info

R.E.B.E.L Dog Rescue is looking for committed adopters, ready to bring a rescue dog into their life. In order to ensure that we find the best homes for our dogs, adoption applicants must go through an adoption approval process. We receive a number of applications for each dog and only one will be chosen as the successful candidate. Candidates are selected based on the dog's needs. Not being selected for the dog that you applied for does not disqualify you from adopting from us in the future.

Go meet their pets

We do our very best to place our dogs into adoptive homes before they arrive into Canada. This ensures that they have a safe and loving place to go after their long journey up North. All dogs adopted through R.E.B.E.L Dog Rescue will receive a 15 day adoption probation period. This period starts the day the dog enters the care of the adopter. This means that the adoptive family has 15 days to determine that dog is a good fit for them. Although it may feel scary to not meet the dog before adopting, the 15 day period allows you to get to know the dog within your home. If you buy a dog off of Kijiji or at a local shelter you may be given a couple hours to meet the dog. We believe that our program's 15 day probation provides much more insight into how he or she will fit into your home, rather than. a brief meet and greet.

More about this rescue

R.E.B.E.L Dog Rescue was founded in 2020 by a small group of young women with one thing is common: a love for dogs. Since establishment, RDR has successfully found forever homed for over 700 dogs. Our mission is to rescue dogs in dire situations and give them a second chance at life through education and empowerment. All of our dogs come the streets and shelters across Texas, where they are experiencing a dog overpopulation crisis. Our team has travelled to the State to see first-hand how we can help and make a difference in the lives of animals.
R.E.B.E.L stands for: rescue, educate, believe, empower and love dogs. We live by these words every day and encourage the dog-loving community to follow suit!
