Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Oakley is a gentle 1-year-old pup weighing around 55 lbs, whose sweetness knows no bounds. This lovely girl is looking for a kind and loving forever home where she can share her heart and warmth with a special family.
Oakley may be timid at first, especially around men, but once she warms up to you, she is so affectionate and friendly. Submissive and easy-going, she is a true gem of a companion, and is the definition of couch potato who loves nothing more than snuggling up with her loved ones.
Despite her initial shyness, Oakley is incredibly affectionate, outgoing, and loves showering her family with love and cuddles once she feels comfortable. She enjoys leisurely walks and spending quality time outdoors, reveling in the sights and sounds of the world around her.
One of Oakley's unique features is her crooked lower jaw, which causes her tongue to stick out. This adorable quirk, possibly from birth, adds to her charm and individuality. However, it's important to note that this trait does not affect her health in any way—she is a happy and healthy pup ready to bring joy into your life.
Oakley is a social butterfly who gets along well with other dogs and is great with kids, making her a wonderful addition to any family dynamic. Her tail wags a mile a minute every time you come home, showing just how much she adores her human companions and the love she has to give.
Oakley is house trained and crate trained. She is a well-mannered pup who is ready to join your family with open paws. If you're seeking a loyal and loving companion who will bring endless joy and affection into your life, Oakley might just be the perfect match for you.

More about this rescue
Hope Ranch Animal Sanctuary is a non-profit organization; obtained our 501(c)3 in 2011 - ID #27-0810495
Located in Anza, CA
Kathy Haley had originally started as a rescue for abused and neglected large animals such as donkeys, llamas, alpacas, pigs, and more. At the time, she was also a volunteer at a dog rescue. After learning about the importance of rescue work, Kathy saw an opportunity to help by employing her own ideas about animal welfare, rescue and care taking the "whole animal," mind, body and spirit into consideration. A few years later, she met Lisa Ashe. Kathy and Lisa had so many ideas, dreams, and goals in common. They instantly clicked and that was when Hope Ranch Animal Sanctuary, a non-profit organization, was born in 2011 and have been going strong since.
At Hope Ranch Animal Sanctuary, we are dedicated to taking in abused, neglected, and euthanasia listed animals that deserve a second chance and need us the most.
All of our animals are:
Spayed/Neutered
Current on all vaccines
Rabies Vaccinated
Dewormed
Micro-chipped (lifetime registered & paid)
Received all proper medical care when needed (surgeries, dentals, medications, grooming, etc)
While many of our animals are sanctuary or "permanent residents", we do have lots of adoptable pets who are patiently waiting for their forever homes.
We are unique in the fact that our dogs do not live in kennels; instead they live with us in our home on about 5 acres of property located in Anza, CA or they are in foster homes in and around the Temecula, CA area. They have full access to our home and property and sleep inside with us at night.
This ensures that our pets are well adjusted and perfectly suited to become a part of your family.
Because the sanctuary is also our home, we do not have regular public visiting hours but we do have many visitors.
We just have to arrange it to fit the schedule of our animals, ourselves, and you.
