Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Otto! Otto’s journey began in Texas, where he and his buddy Chase were found as strays and rescued by Homeward Bound Animal Rescue of Wisconsin. At just 2 years old, this Spaniel mix has a lot of life and love to give—and at 35 pounds, he’s the perfect size for all the couch cuddles you could want!
Otto is the total package: housebroken, crate-trained, and incredibly sweet. He’s playful and gentle, with excellent recall and the ability to walk off-leash. Otto gets along wonderfully with other dogs, though he’s a bit too curious about cats for their comfort. While he can be a little shy with new people, he warms up quickly and will steal your heart.
Ready to meet this sweet Spaniel? Apply online today! www.HBWI.org/adopt
FEE INCLUDES: Adopting an adult dog (6 months or older) includes spaying/neutering, vaccinations, deworming, flea & tick prevention, heartworm testing, and microchipping.
For dogs under 6 months, they receive age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, flea/tick prevention, and microchipping. All dogs are spayed/neutered by 6 months, covered within the adoption fee. The procedure must be done at one of our partner clinics.
To begin the adoption process, please submit an application on our website: www.hbwi.org/adopt. Once approved, you'll have the opportunity to meet our available dogs. Following the meeting, you can initiate a 5-day Adoption Trial, allowing you to take the dog home. This trial period is designed to ensure the dog is a match for you and aligns with your lifestyle. After the 5-day trial, if all goes well, the adoption will be finalized. Additionally, we require a home visit once the dog is settled in its new home to ensure a smooth transition for both the dog and the adopter.
