Mama is a sweet and friendly dog who’s ready to find her forever home. She’s a gentle soul with a heart full of love, and once she gets to know you, her affectionate side shines brightly. Mama enjoys being around people and loves a good petting session, especially with those she’s already bonded with. Mama has also shown she can coexist beautifully with other dogs. She recently met a bigger, energetic canine friend and handled the introduction with grace, happily sharing space and exchanging friendly sniffs. She’d do well in a home with another respectful dog companion or as the only pet soaking up all the love. That being said, we do recommend a dog-to-dog be done here at the shelter to ensure she is a good fit with whatever dogs she may be living with. While she’s a little more curious than playful indoors, Mama may enjoy outdoor adventures where she can explore and stretch her legs. Mama’s warm and loving nature makes her the perfect companion for a patient family who will give her the time and care she needs to settle in. If you’re looking for a loyal friend who will blossom in your home, Mama is waiting to meet you!
