My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Katie!

Katie is a stunning 1-year-old, 71-pound shepherd mix who was saved just in time from being euthanized after a run-in with some chickens. While the farm life wasn’t her ideal match, we believe this sweet girl has so much love to give and deserves a second chance.

Katie is good with other dogs and is eager to find her place in a loving foster home where we can learn more about her personality and preferences in a home setting. She’s new to us, but she’s already won us over with her gentle demeanor and beautiful shepherd spirit.

Katie is spayed, up-to-date on her vaccines, and ready for her fresh start. Her adoption donation is $400. If you’re ready to give this lovely girl a chance, consider fostering or adopting her today!

We have adoption events each Saturday at Wet Noses Dry Paws in Tacoma (411 Fawcett Ave Tacoma) from 2-4. Not all dogs listed will be attending but it is a great time to come and socialize with them in a play setting.

More about this rescue

501c3 non-profit l est 2019 l

We have been fostering dogs since early 2019 through various rescues.

What better way to showcase them then in a playful, happy, loving environment with other loving dogs in our community.

Recently we have started changing things as we are looking for our pups to go into foster homes/foster to adopt.

We typically fly dogs in from over capacity shelters in Texas, drive puppers over from Yakima, and still have an amazing relationship with a partnering rescue in Mexico.
