Squirrel's journey hasn't been a walk in the park. She was found abandoned in a parking lot, injured and alone. We think she had been hit by a car. Squirrel suffered fractures to her pelvis and leg. Our dedicated medical team was able to nurse her back to health without surgery, opting instead for limited movement to allow her bones to heal naturally. While playtime was restricted during her recovery, her love for running and jumping never faded.
Now, Squirrel is a happy kitten with boundless energy who would love a playful friend, but one who understands her past and keeps things gentle. She's also a cuddle monster who loves head scratches, giving kisses, and sleeping with her person. While she hasn't met any dogs yet, Squirrel is friendly towards anyone who shows her kindness.
