My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Eureka – Your Future Adventure Buddy!

Eureka, born approximately 5/6/2024, is a sweet, active young pup who is neutered, fully vetted, and ready to find a loving family to call his own! Rescued from a hoarding situation along with 69 other dogs, Eureka is eager to start a new chapter in a home where he can thrive and be his joyful, playful self.

Eureka is an energetic pup who would love an active family to keep him busy and engaged. He would do well with other pets in the home and would benefit from a patient, understanding environment as he continues to learn what it means to be a dog. Eureka is still adjusting, so a home that can provide him with the time, care, and love he needs to grow into the best companion he can be would be perfect!

If you`re ready to embark on an adventure with Eureka, head over to eastshoreha.org to submit your application today! Once your application is processed and approved, our staff will contact you to schedule a personal meet and greet to meet this sweet love bug.

Don’t wait – Eureka is ready to find his forever family! Apply today!

Additional adoption info

Before You Adopt: Please consider these factors before filling out an application:

1. Animals are expensive to care for. They require food, shelter, toys, grooming, and veterinary health and dental care.

2. Animals require attention. You have to clean up after their messes, protect them from anything that might harm them, and make sure they get adequate play time and exercise. Some require training, which takes patience, love, and commitment.

Adopting a Friend: Adopter will fill out an application to start the adoption process. We don't adopt on a first come, first served basis, but instead adopt based on what we feel is in the animal's best interest. We DO NOT ship animals.

Adoption Requirements:

1. Have verifiable identification

2. Be at least 18 years of age

3. If renting, have landlords consent to bring a pet to your home

4. All adopted pets must be spayed or neutered

5. All pets must leave the shelter on a collar and leash, or in a pet carrier

6. Agree to all terms of the adoption contract; ESHA reserves the right to deny any application
