My name is Choo Choo!

- Friendly guy who will greet you with a smile and a wagging tail; enjoys being petted

- Loves to chase toys then happily pick them up and show them off to everyone

- Did great on a recent Dog's Day Out field trip, and here's what his human companion had to say about him: "Choo Choo is very sweet and very gentle. He was respectful of me when I ate. He is really good on lead and with a few reminders not to pull, we had no issues. He likes stuffed toys, tug and fetch. He loves the car and is great at riding, but likes to be up front rather than in the back seat. He was wiggly and cuddly, and when we sat on the couch he wanted to be on my lap. He loves forehead kisses, butt rubs and big hugs."

- Has done well with like-minded dogs and may enjoy dog friends in his new home

All adoptable dogs and puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and DA2PPV as appropriate for their age)

The ARL's shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label.
