My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Alba is looking for her family! She is a beautiful shepherd mix weighing around 40 lbs. and estimated to be 1 year old. Alba is a shy girl who was fearful in the shelter and didn’t know much outside of it and her interaction with humans have been minimal due to this. However, once trust is established, she connects hard with her people and displays her silly and easygoing traits. She is house trained, crate trained, flawless with kids and loves all dogs. She is even starting to relieve herself on command. New people make her nervous at first, but she always comes around with time and patience. A home with another well-mannered and playful dog isn’t mandatory, but it would definitely help with boosting her confidence.

More about this rescue

We are a group of volunteers and rescuers combining our skills to help fosters get a dog out of the shelter! The dogs in our program have begun house, crate, and leash training. Our fosters follow a handful of house rules. The transition to a new home is easiest for your dog when these structures are carried over for some time and privileges are gradually introduced. This helps minimize anxiety and behavioral issues.
