My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I’m Tambora. I’m a dainty and sweet girl. I like to play, but I’m not as tough as my brothers. I’m very smart and like to analyze everything first. I wait till my brothers fall asleep and then I pounce! I’m a black and white Tuxedo DSH kitten who is about 2 months old as of January.

I`m a kitten full of curiosity and sweetness. I like to view new surroundings first, watching everything with a keen eye. I also like following my mother around, to observe how she handles life. My playtime is gentle, I prefer a dainty touch over rough play. I`m sweet and friendly, always ready to purr for a gentle stroke. I`m always up for a game, and I love to engage in a playful chase with my feathered toys or my brothers, as long as they don`t get too rough. My inquisitive nature keeps me entertained, but I`m also content to sit quietly and observe. I hope to find a home that appreciates my gentle playfulness and curious, friendly spirit. Adopting me would mean a lifetime of sweet purrs and playful moments.

Tambora is living with her siblings Fuji and Vesuvius, and her mother Sedona. They can be adopted together, in pairs or separately if there is a cat already in the home. Check out the others’ profiles, too.

Please note:
This cat must be adopted with another cat/kitten or must have a resident/current cat in the home.

She is looking for a forever home that is willing to foster to adopt until she is old enough to be fixed. Foster to adopt means, she will be living with you and you will be responsible for her (including financially) but the adoption will not be finalized until she is fixed. That usually happens around 6 months depending on what the vet says.

Tambora is up-to-date on vaccinations, dewormed, FIV/FELV negative, and microchipped. She is currently being cared for by our rescue, but would like you to make her a part of your family today! The adoption fee of $125 EACH will benefit other CPR rescue animals.

More about this rescue

CPR is a foster/volunteer based rescue, with a 501c(3) non-profit status, dedicated to rescuing stray and abandoned animals. We do not have a central "shelter" as all of our animals are placed in foster homes until forever homes can be found. Our goal is to rescue as many animals as we can safely manage thru foster homes. We rescue dogs, puppies, cats, kittens, birds and other small animals.
